Properties of Optical Brightener KSN
Optical Brightener KSN is insoluble in water, but soluble in high boiling point organic solvents such as benzene trichloride, with small dosage and high whitening strength, very small dosage can produce very good whitening effect. Brightener KSN has good compatibility with plastics, high temperature resistance and excellent sun and weather resistance.
Applications of Optical Brightener KSN
- Suitable for whitening polyester, polyamide, polyacrylonitrile and other fibers, silk and wool fabrics.
- Widely used in film, injection molding and extrusion molding materials, suitable for all plastic processing.
- Suitable for whitening in any processing stage of synthetic polymers, including polymerization stage.
Fluorescent brightener KSN has similar chemical structure with optical brightener OB-1, but its whitening effect on polyester fiber and plastic products is better than OB-1, and its solubility with plastic is better than OB-1, and very good whitening effect can be produced with a small amount, which is far less than optical brightener OB-1.
Packaging and Storage
Optical Brightener KSN is packed 25kg per fiber drum lined with plastic bag, stored in cool and dry place without direct sunlight. Shelf life is 2 years.
