Properties of Optical Brightener FP-127

Optical Brightener FP-127 is insoluble in water, but soluble in common organic solvents. With the maximum absorption wavelength of 368 nm and the maximum emission wavelength of 436 nm, it gives a blue purple light.  OBA 378 (FBA 378 ) has strong acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and excellent weather resistance. Optical Brightener FP-127 has good compatibility with plastics, with a very small dosage producing strong whitening and brightening effect.

Applications of Optical Brightener FP-127

Optical Brightener FP-127 has a good whitening and brightening effect on all kinds of plastics, especially for PVC, polypropylene and other plastic products. It is ideal for the whitening and brightening artificial leather products and PVC sports shoe soles, as well as other thermoplastic plastics, coatings, inks, synthetic fibers, etc. It has the characteristics of high whiteness, good color light, good color fastness, heat resistance, good weather resistance, and no yellowing. OBA 378 (FBA 378 ) is similar to uvitex FP in function. Fluorescent Brightener 378 can be added to monomers or prepolymers before or during polymerization, polycondensation. It can also be added in the form of powder or pellets before or during the formation of plastics and synthetic fibers.
