Properties of Optical Brightener EBF
Optical Brightener EBF is light yellow crystal powder, melting point 220 ℃ (chlorobenzene recrystallization). Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvent and concentrated acid, with bright blue fluorescence, the maximum absorption wavelength is 367nm (DMF), the maximum emission wavelength is 429nm.
Optical Brightener EBF has excellent light fastness, up to 7-8 grade. It has good stability for acid / alkali, hard water, peroxide and hypochlorite compounds.
Applications of Optical Brightener EBF
Because of its good fastness, Optical Brightener EBF is a common polyester whitening agent used at home and abroad. This product can also be used to whiten plastics, coatings, vinegar fiber, nylon, chloro fiber, etc. Similar products abroad include uvitex EBF. It is not only suitable for exhaustion dyeing, but also for pad dyeing, very suitable for alkaline discharge dyeing.
Packaging and Storage
Optical Brightener EBF is packed 25kg per fiber drum lined with plastic bag, stored in cool and dry place without direct sunlight. Shelf life is 2 years.
